Questions about the subscription

Is there a minimum contract period for the subscription and how do I cancel it?

Depending on the product you have selected, the minimum contract period varies between 3 and 24 months. After this period has expired, you can terminate the subscription at any time with a monthly notice period. If you do not cancel, the subscription will automatically be extended by a further month. All products without a selectable contract period have a minimum contract period of 6 months.

How can I cancel my subscription and what is the cancellation period?

To cancel your subscription, simply log into your loopi account after your minimum contract period has expired. Under "Subscription", select the option "Cancel subscription". Please note the 14-day cancellation period. After successful cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email with further information.

How can I exchange the stroller?

If your needs have changed – for example, if your child has grown or you now need a double stroller or bike trailer – you can easily exchange your rented product.

After a minimum period, you can switch to another product.

This is how the product change works:

1. Order your new desired product directly from the loopi shop.

2. Cancel your current subscription in your loopi account.

As soon as the new product has been delivered, simply return the old product. The exchange is simple and flexible so that you always have the right product for your family!

What happens to returned items and how are they processed?

We put returned items through a thorough process: they are professionally cleaned, serviced and, if necessary, repaired. This way we ensure that every product is as good as new and can be used safely. Your safety is our highest priority.

Why should I subscribe (rent) children's products instead of buying them?

Children's products such as strollers and toys are often only needed for a short time. With our subscription, you remain flexible and only rent products for as long as you need them - ideally tailored to your child's development. You save money, avoid repair costs and don't have to worry about maintenance.

Do I have to pay for normal wear and tear on rented products?

No, normal signs of wear and tear such as scratches, dents and slight bumps are not a problem for us. Our products are made to be used! We take care of the refurbishment so that the stroller and other items look like new again after they are returned. You do not have to bear any additional costs for wear and tear.

Is the start date of the subscription flexible?

Sure! You decide when the adventure starts. However, we recommend that you take out a subscription early to ensure product availability and avoid waiting times or disappointments when products are sold out. The start date can be chosen up to six months in the future.

What happens after the minimum term of my subscription expires?

After the minimum term has expired, your subscription will automatically be renewed by one month. However, you have the option of canceling it monthly from this point onwards via the Self-Service Center . Please note the 14-day cancellation period.

When should I order the stroller to receive it in time for the birth?

We recommend that you schedule the delivery date for the stroller about a month before the due date. If your baby is due to be born earlier, just contact us by phone on +41 77 415 21 97 and we will immediately arrange the early delivery.

Questions about payment

What payment options are available?

You can currently pay with credit card and TWINT. We are also working on integrating PayPal, which will be available soon.

When is payment for the subscription due?

The first payment is due when you take out the subscription so that the desired items are reserved for you. From the start date you choose, monthly payments will then be made, which will be automatically debited from your stored payment method. Example: If you take out your subscription on October 15, 2024 with a start date of December 1, 2024, the first payment is due on October 15. The next payment will then be made after delivery on December 1 and repeats monthly until the subscription is canceled.

Questions about the stroller

Can I test drive the stroller or bike trailer?

Yes, you are welcome to test drive the stroller or bike trailer! Simply arrange an appointment with us in Winterthur by sending us an email to hey@loopi.ch. We look forward to welcoming you on site and giving you the opportunity to try out our products.

Will I receive a used product or a new product?

At loopi you will receive a product in like-new condition! All items, including strollers, bike trailers and more, are professionally cleaned, repaired and thoroughly tested once they are returned to us. This includes replacing spare parts or fabrics when necessary. Therefore, there is no difference in quality - our products are always like-new to new.

Which buggy is best for traveling?

Are there additional costs for delivery and return shipping?

There are no additional charges for delivery to your door or return shipping, so it is free of charge.

Will my order be delivered to my home?

Yes, your order will be delivered free of charge directly to your home or to an address of your choice.

How long is the delivery time?

The delivery time is usually 3 to 5 working days. For items with a longer delivery time, you will find a corresponding note on the respective product page.

What do I need to consider when returning products?

To return your rented product, please follow these steps:

  1. Initiate cancellation: Log in to your loopi account and cancel the subscription of the product you want to return.
  2. Automatic confirmation email: After initiating the cancellation, you will receive an automatic email with all important information about the return. In this email you will also find a pick@home link, which you can use to conveniently arrange for the post office to pick up the item from your home.
  3. Pack products safely: Please pack the items in the original box and follow the instructions in our packaging video. The postman will bring the return label directly with him, so you don't have to worry about anything else.
  4. Confirmation of return: As soon as we have received and processed the return, you will receive confirmation of the successful cancellation of the products in question.

You can cancel your subscription at any time in the customer portal and start the return process.

What do I do if my product breaks?

What happens in case of theft?

Whether you have a subscription or a purchase, theft can unfortunately happen. If a rented item is stolen, it is important to report the theft to the police immediately. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer any additional theft protection, but we are working on changing this in the future. We recommend that you include your stroller, bike trailer or balance bike in your home contents insurance to protect them against theft and burglary. It may also be a good idea to take out additional cover for theft outside the home, e.g. at the playground or at the swimming pool. You can find more information in our terms and conditions .

How can I give your subscription as a gift?

This is a great gift idea! You can choose a voucher for our subscription worth between CHF 200 and 1,200.
